Replaced.
Did you hear what was being said? Or where or how or why? Did you pick a side to ignite a fire that would blow
wild simply because you thought you could change a game or be motivational for a second?
Only to realize that you threw stones at the wrong soul and opened up an already sealed lid and in the process
forced out threads from already stitched wounds because you thought it was taking too long to heal and threads aren’t meant
to last in wounds that have been stitched?
Well, that’s the problem. You don’t have to play a part that isn’t meant for you. If you’re not skilled,
then you have no business with addressing certain issues or dressing wounds— because if you were skilled, you’d know everyone bleeds but we all
bleed differently just as everyone heals but we all
heal differently at different times, places and stages. There is no fixed rule when it comes to healing: we ain’t working with
anyone’s time or assumption. We heal when there is no burning sensation beneath the wounds we bear.
We heal when our wounds have been replaced with skin.
