A Short Poem: If Tomorrow Never Comes
Embedded in tomorrow are
all the wishes and dreams—
the plans and everything of
many.
Time is here yet so far away
and everyone is waiting in
anticipation for its arrival. But
if tomorrow never comes
then it means songs won’t be sung;
long gone will be dreams and wishes
and eyes will not behold the beauty of the sun
and the ones beloved.
If tomorrow never comes. It means destiny has no home,
dreams have no fulfillments and time
has gone to rest.
If tomorrow never comes,
it means all that’s left is the rest of today and eyes
will be wide shut when the sun sets in the West.
If tomorrow never comes…
If it never comes
it means death has come to stay
and all there would be nothing left to say.

Beautiful words. Tomorrow is having ray of light and a hope to live. It is hard to think of if time is going to rest, no tomorrow , end of the world
Yeah, you’re right. It is difficult to think of time stopping. It can’t stop. It’ll be weird if it did. Thank you so much for reading, Heena.
Great and thoughtful, makes you appreciate today and even the gift of each day not excluding the existence of time itself. Without tommorow dreams, hopes, ambitions probably won’t exist.
